Happy weekend, everyone!
Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp, One Cool Pineapple stamp set. I am so in love with this stamp set and love all those sentiments in it. I started with watercoloring some Distress Inks (candied apple, squeeze lemonade, carved pumpkin and mowed lawn) on watercolor paper to make the background and waited until it completely dried. Then I stamped and heated embossing the sentiments “Stuck on you” onto the background with Versa Mark, watermark pad and Hero Arts, clear embossing powder.
I stamped the Cactus with Memento black ink pad and colored it with Copic markers. I also added some dots with a black gel pen on the cactus and cut it out with scissors (I love fussy cutting). Then I used Martha Stewart’s flower punch to punch out a few flowers and watercolored them with Distress ink to match the background. I also used a white gel pen to add some details onto the flowers and then glued them on to the cactus and next to the sentiment. I then added it onto an A2 Bazzill, Circus Peanuts card stock.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great weekend! See you next time!
