Hello there and happy Wednesday!
Today I’m sharing this pop-up shadow card using Simons Says Stamp, August Card Kit, Background Stamp and Happy Die.
First, I stamped the Wide Stripes Background stamp on my card base (Neenah Solar White) with Altenew Inks’ Butter Cream. Then, I stamped the flower image with Hero Arts Back Ink and colored it with Copic Markers (R83, R85, YG61, YG63 and YR24). I fussy cut the image out and put it aside.
Next, I die cut the Happy Die three times in Neenah White card stock (80 lbs). I also die cut the Happy Shadow in Bazzill Black card stock and glued them together.
For the inside, I repeated the steps for the front card base on a piece of Recollections cardstock (80 lbs) measuring, 4 1/4″ x 6″ and scored 3/4″, 4 1/2″ and 5 1/4″. I learned this technique from Jennifer McGuire from her Window Pop-up Card on 07/28.
To finish the card, I adhered the pop-up part to the inside of the card. I glued the Happy sentiment, the flower image and few clear drops from Hai Supply onto the front card base.
I hope you will like the card and thanks for stopping by my blog. See you next time!
Beautiful card Holly! Love the stripe background especially and those clear drops add the perfect touch! Thanks for sharing and the inspiration!
