Happy Thursday, everyone! I can’t wait for the weekend to start!
Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp’s Center Cut Burst!
First, I stamped the image with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder onto a Neenah Solar White Cardstock to create my background. Then, I used ink blending tools to blend Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks together.
I stamped the center cut star onto a separate piece of white Neenah card stock and repeated all the steps I did for my background, and I fussy cut out the star and put it aside. Then, I die cut the Sunshine sentiment from My Favorite Things with gold glitter card stock once and white Neenah card stock two times and same with the Hello sentiment from Recollections. I glued all the layers together and set it aside.
I trimmed the background down to 4″ x 5.25″ and glued it on to an A2 sized card base. Next, I used foam tape to pop up the center star and glued the sentiments in the middle of the card and finished it with a jewel in the middle of the star and on top of the “i”.
I hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by my blog. See you all next time!
Your cards are always SO beautiful, Holly. I’m super excited to have you join us at Word Art Wednesday this month. Thanks for sharing your God-given talents.
