Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Today’s card features Studio Katia, Lovely Blooms!
I stamped the flowers with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts, Intense Black onto a Neenah Solar White card stock (80 lbs). I colored the image with Copic Markers (YG13, 17, 61, 63, and 67, Y11, 13 and 15, YR 04, 09, and 24 and R39) and fussy cut the image out.
I used the Altenew, Plaid Cover Die and die cut the Plaid background out with Neenah White card stock. For the backgound, I watercolored onto my Bristol A2 card base with Distress Inks (Candies Apple, Mustard Seeds and Carved Pumpkin). I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Simon Says Stamps, Mandy’s Flowers Stamp Set with Hero Arts, white embossing powder onto two strips of Recollection Black card stock.
To finish the card, I glued the Plaid Cover onto the water color backgound card base and adhered the flowers and the two strips of sentiments onto the card.
