Hello all and Happy Autumn!
Today is Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival which is also called Moon Cake Day! So, I decided to make another Autumn card featuring Hero Arts, September Card Kit, 2018.
First, I stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White card stock with Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts, Intense Black. I colored them with Copic Markers (YR07 and 09, YG21, 23 and 67, G20, Y02 and Y15). I also traced the stamp images with my Uniball Gold Glitter Gel Pen. I fussy cut all the images out.
I glued the images onto a piece of pattern paper and made it look like a painting. I cut out some twine, poked a hole on each corner of the pattern paper, and tied the twine to the paper.
Next I put a brad in the center on the top of my A2 sized card base from Bazzill’s Butter Mints card stock. Then, I adhered the piece of the pattern paper with the stamp images onto my A2 card base.
I stamped the sentiment “Happy Autumn” onto the pattern paper and layered it with a piece of Recollection Glitter card stock. To finish the card, I glued on the sentiment below the brad.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for stopping by my blog and Have a great Monday!
What a lovely card Holly ❤️ The “hanging painting” makes your card look like a work of art and the serene color scheme creates a calm and inviting feeling.
