Good morning and Happy World Cardmaking Day, friends! Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp, Plank Background, Happy Die, and You Matter Stamp Set.
I stamped the Plank Background with VersaMark ink onto an A2 sized Neenah Solar White card stock (110 lbs) and heat embossed it with Hero Arts’ white detailed embossing powder. Next, I brought out three Distress Oxide Inks. I used the ink blending tools to blend the colors of Sugar Spun, Tumbled Glass, and Soft Lilac onto the background.
I die cut “Happy” five times with Neenah white card stock and the “Happy” shadow with Vellum paper. Then, I glued all the layers together. I also stamped the sentiment, “happy birthday to you” from You Matter stamp set with VersaMark ink onto a strip of blue Bazzill card stock and heat embossed it with Hero Arts’ white detailed embossing powder.
To finish the card, I glued the background onto my A2 sized Neenah White card base (110 lbs) and adhered all the sentiments onto the card.
