Happy Friday! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Today, I am sharing a birthday card I made for my niece. This is a perfect card for her because she is a music teacher and a cellist. I hope she will like it.
First, I started working on my card panel by stamping the Noteworthy Background from Local King Rubber Stamp with VersaMark ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and heat-embossed it with Hero Arts’ White Detail Embossing Powder. I used the ink blending tools to blend Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Inks.
Next, I stamped a few palm trees and some animals from My Favorite Things’ Jungle Vibes Stamp Set with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black. Then, I colored them with Copic Markers (Y26, Y28, E09, E11, E13, E15, E34, BG13, BG15, R27, YR09, Y13 and Y18). I fussy cut them out and put them aside.
I stamped the sentiment, “Happy Birthday”, onto my card panel with VersaFind, Onyx Black Ink. Then, I trimmed down my card panel to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered it to my A2 sized White Neenah card base. To finish the card, I glued down the palm trees onto my card panel and popped up the animals with foam tape.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for visiting and see you all next time! Have a great weekend!
