Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
I’m very honored and thrilled to be part of this amazing Design Team for Cas Colours and Sketches Challenge Blog for 2019! Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity!
This week’s challenge is a sketch challenge, Challenge #303.
Today’s card features this Sweet Tulip die from Simon Says Stamp’s Die-cember release. I love this die so much, simple and pretty!
First I die cut this Sweet Tulip die with Neenah White card stock (#110 lbs). I used the ink blending tool to color the tulip with Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Spun Sugar, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. I cut a strip of white neenah card stock and glued it onto my A2 White Neenah (#110 lbs) card base to create the sketch.
I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp’s Messages For Everyday Stamp Set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink directly onto my card base. To finish the card I adhered the Sweet Tulip die onto the card and kept it simple.

The inlaid die cut tulip is so pretty! I thought you’d pieced it together from different colored cardstock but no, you’ve done a gorgeous job of inking the white cardstock. It’s a fabulous way to start off being on our CC&S team! 🙂
