from my heart to yours

Happy Tuesday!

It’s another new challenge week at Cas Colours and Sketches. This week’s challenge  #307 is Colours Sketch. They are the perfect colors for Valentine’s Day.

I made this card by using Simon Says Stamp’s Deco Heart Die. I die cut the Deco Heart from grey Recollection card stock twice and stacked them up. I also die cut a big heart from Lipstick Pink Recollection card stock and I glued it behind the grey Deco Heart. Then, I die cut another small heart with a light pink Recollection card stock and glued it to the middle of the grey Deco Heart. 

I used the Cuttlebug’s Heart Blocks embossing folder to emboss the card panel in white Neenah card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp’s Mandy’s Flowers Stamp Set with Versa Mark Ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts’ Detailed White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Lipstick Pink Recollection card stock.

To finish the card, I glued the card panel onto my A2 Pink card base from Hero Arts and adhered the sentiment and the Deco Heart onto my card.
