Happy Wednesday, friends!
Today, I am sharing a birthday card I made using Simon Says Stamp‘s Debra Wafer Dies, Big Happy Dies and Stained Love Stamp Set.
I first die cut the Debra Wafer Dies two times. I used one of them as a stencil and one of them as my card panel. I used the stencil as a guide to color the leaves and the middle with Copic Markers (YG17, YG21, YG23, Y11, Y17, Y18, YR00, YR04 and YR12) onto a piece of 4.25″ by 5.5″ Neenah White Card Stock. I also ink blending the outside layer of the Debra Wafer Dies with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink.
Then, I used the same color of the Distress Oxide Ink to ink blending onto a piece of Bristol Smooth White card stock for my Happy Dies. I die cut the Happy sentiment two times and glued them together and die cut the Happy shadow with Recollection Black card stock. I stamped the Birthday sentiment with Versa Mark Ink onto a strip of Black Recollection Card Stock and heat embossed with Hero Arts’ Detailed White Embossing Powder. To finish my card, I adhered my card panel onto my A2 Neenah White card base and glued on the Happy Birthday sentiment.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for visiting and see you all next time.
Such a bright and beautiful card holly! Great use of the die cut as a stencil and your coloring is amazing as always! What a lovely creation!
