Happy Friday! I can’t wait for the weekend to start!
Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp‘s Leafy Frame Die and It’s Your Birthday Stamp Set.
I created a die cut panel for this card with the Leafy Frame Die. First, I die cut two Leafy Frames with Bristol Smooth White Card Stock and ink blended Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron onto one of the frames. I masked off four sides of the frame with purple tape, wanting to leave the edges white. I left the other frame white.
I started making my card panel’s background by ink blending Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold, and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks together onto a piece of Bristol Smooth white card stock which measures 4.25″ by 5.5″. Then, I splattered some water with a brush onto my background. I waited until it completely dried until I stamped the sentiment with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink onto the card panel. I adhered both leafy frames onto my background, the white one on the bottom and the green one on top in an opposite way. To finish the card, I glued the card panel onto my A2 Neenah White card base.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for visiting and see you next time! Have a great weekend!
Great card Holly, I love the leafy frame and the inky background is a gorgeous blend of colours. 🙂
