Hi there!
Today, I am sharing my final card that I created for Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge as their guest designer for their most recent challenge #119, Spring Has Sprung. You still have time to play along with us for a chance to win one of two $25 gift cards from Simon Says Stamp until this Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 8a.m.
I created this card using Simon Says Stamp’s Stencil Butterflies. First, I made my card panel by positioning the stencil onto a piece of 3 1/2″ by 5.25″ Bristol Smooth White Card Stock. Then, I used the ink blending tools to blend Twisted Citron/Mermaid Lagoon, Squeezed Lemonade/Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry/Dried Marigold, Candied Apple and Wore Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks onto the stencil. After it’s completely dried, I placed the stencil back onto the butterflies and applied a thin layer of Nuvo’s Glimmer Paste and set it aside for drying (it took about 30 mins).
I placed the card panel onto my Misti Stamping Tool and stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp’s Stamptember Fresh Bunch with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I matted with a piece of Black Recollection card stock and a strip of pattern paper from LawnFawn. To finish the card, I adhered it onto my A2 Lime Bazzill card base and added some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope you like the card! Thanks again for Simon Says Stamp for having me as a guest designer for this challenge! Thanks visiting and see you all next time!
