CAS Colours and Sketches – Challenge #316 – Something special for your birthday

Hi there!

It’s another new sketch challenge this week over at CAS Colours and Sketches. I hope you will play along with us!

For today’s card, I used this cute stamp set from LA-LA Land Crafts. It’s called “Take It Sloth” and the images are so adorable!

I stamped the sloth with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black onto a piece of white Neenah card stock. I colored it with Copic Markers (E15, E18 and E23, YG13 and YG17, RV21 and RV23) and fussy cut out the sloth. I die cut two Fishing Net Dies from LA LA Land Crafts with Recollection’s light brown and beige card stock. I also cut a piece of pattern paper from Recollection and adhered it onto my A2 Neenah White Card Base. I stamped the sentiment with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink onto a strip of Bazzill’s Lime card stock.  To finish the card, I glued on the fishing nets, the sloth, and the sentiment.
