CAS Colours and Sketches – Challenge #317 – You’re so Sweet!

It’s another new colours challenge this week over at CAS Colours and Sketches. I hope you will play along with us!

I am using Hero Arts, my monthly hero card kit from August 2018 for today’s card.

I stamped three coffee mug and cups from that stamp set with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black onto a piece of Neenah White card stock. I colored them with Copic Markers (Y15, Y18, R26, R46, B45, and B) and fussy cut them out. I heat embossed the sentiment with Hero Arts’ White Detailed Embossing Powder onto the red coffee cup. I stamped a little heart and whipped cream and colored them with Copic markers and glued it onto the blue cup. I also stamped a little pattern with blue ink and a straw onto the yellow mug.

I stamped the Pinstripes from Altenew onto a piece of Neenah White Card Stock with Altenew’s Citrus Burst Ink to make the background. I trimmed the background down to 4″ by 5.25″ and matted it with a piece of black Recollection card stock. I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Neenah White Card Stock. To finish the card, I arranged and glued the cups and mug onto my card front. Last, I stamped the steam with Simon Says Stamp’s Fog Ink on top of the red cup.
