Hello friends! Sending you hugs and wishing you all a wonderful day!
Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp’s Dahlia Stem Die and Love Stamp Set! I love this beautiful Dahlia Stem so much, very detailed and elegant!
I started making my front card panel by ink blending Scattered Straw, Mermaid Lagoon, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock to make the background. I die cut the Dahlia Stem Wafter Die once and used a Therm O Web Purple Tape to pick up all the pieces from the die before removing the outline. Then, I used another purple tape and flipped the pieces over so I can color them with Copic Markers (R27, R46, Y13, Y15, YG13 and YG17)
I trimmed the Distress Oxide Ink background down to 3.25″ by 4.75″ and matted it with a piece of black Recollection card stock. I also die cut a thin frame with Neenah White card stock and glued it onto my background. I arranged and adhered the Dahlia Stem outline onto my front card panel. Then, I glued all those little pieces that I colored back into the Dahlia Stem like a puzzle.
I used my Misti, the stamping tool, to stamp the sentiment onto the card with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink. To finish the card, I adhered the front card panel onto my A2 Neenah White Card Base.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for visiting!
