CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #318 – Hello Friend

It’s another new sketches challenge this week over at CAS Colours and Sketches. I hope you will play along with us!

I hope you all had a great Easter Weekend! I can’t believe it’s already closed to the end of April. One more week and it’s going to be May!

I made this card with Simon Says Stamp’s Comfort & Prayers Stamp Set and the Outline Butterflies Background Stamp. To start the card, I stamped the Butterflies Background Stamp with Inkon3’s Fadeout Ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth White card stock. To made the images stood out more, I stamped it twice. Then, I stamped the butterflies from Comfort & Prayers’ stamp set with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink onto a piece of Neenah White Card Stock. I colored them with Copic Markers (B01, B02, B04, V01, V04, V06, R81, R83, R85, Y06 and W02) and fussy cut them out.

I used my Misti, the stamping tool to stamp the sentiment “Hello friend” from Simon Says Stamp’s Sketched Flowers Stamp Set onto my card panel with VersaFine Onyx Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts’ Clear Embossing Powder. I trimmed a strip of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn and glued it on the left edge of the card panel. I adhered the card panel onto my #100 pounds Recollection White card base. To finish the card, I glued on all three butterflies onto the card.
