CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #322 – Hello Friend.

Hello friend and Happy Tuesday!

It’s another new colors challenge this week at CAS Colours & Sketches! I created this card with Simon Says Stamp’s Poppy Frame Die. 

First, I die cut the Poppy Frame 4 times with Neenah White Card Stock. Next, I glued them together and I ink blended the frame with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink. I colored the inlay part of the flower with Copic Markers (Y38, YR04).  I also ink blended the background with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink. To finish off the card, I adhered the frame onto my A2 Recollection White card base and glued on the sentiment strip (the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp’s tiny words strips).
