CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #332 – Happy Birthday!

Hello there! I can’t believe it’s already the last week of July. This week is the fifth week of the month, that means we are having a double challenge over at CC&S!

Here is the beautiful sketch and colours created by our host, Karen. I hope you will play along with us this week at CC&S!

For the card, I used Hero Arts’ Stamp Your Own Succulents stamp set. I also used the Crafters Workshop’s Micro Bricks stencil.

I stamped the succulents with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black onto a piece of Neenah White card stock. I colored the succulents with Copic Markers (RV17, G00, G02 and G09). I stamped the sentiment onto the vase with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink. Next, I dried emboss the Brick Stencil onto a piece of White Neenah card stock and matted with a piece of white card stock (I colored the edge with RV17 and G09 to match the Succulents).  To finish off the card, I adhered everything onto my A2 White Neenah Card Base.
