CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #337

Hi there! I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day’s Weekend!

It’s time for another new colors challenge this week over at CC&S!  Here is the card I made for this challenge using Simon Says Stamp’s Plantiful Punks Stamp Set.

I first stamped the Aloe Plant on to a piece of White Neenah card stock with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black. I colored it with Copic Markers’ (YR18, YG67 and Tombo #992).  Next, I fussy cut it out and put it aside.

I stamped the freehand border from Rubbernecker Stamp onto a piece of 4″ by 5.25″ Neenah White Card Stock. I also stamped the sentiment onto the left upper corner of the card panel. Next, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Pumpkin Bazzill card base. To finish off the card, I glued the plant onto my card.
