It’s Your Birth-Yay

Hello there! Today, I’m sharing a card I made for My Favorite Things (MFT) 2019, Card Design Superstar Contest in the Coloring Virtuoso category.

Here is the card I created and features the stamp of Birth-Yay from My Favorite Things! I love all those animals in this stamp set, so cute!

First, I stamped the animals with a copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black onto a piece of copic friendly paper, Neenah white card stock. I colored it with copic markers (YG17, YG67, Y02, Y06, Y08, Y13, E13, E23, E34, W2, W4, C2, C3, C4, BG32, BG45, BG75, R20, YR02). I used the copic makers to create the grass.

Next I used the stamping tool, Misti to stamp the sentiment onto the card panel. Then, I matted the card panel with three layers of Recollection card stock (yellow, black and green). To finish off the card, I glued them onto my A2 #100 pound Recollection card base.
