Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays – CAS Colours and Sketches

Hello friends and Happy Tuesday! I hope your week got off to a great start!

Can’t believe the year is almost over! Time to make some Holiday cards, so this week’s challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches is turning your 2019 colours and sketches into seasonal creations.

I love this Bitty Bears stamp set from My Favorite Things!  First, I stamped the bears with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar white card stock. I colored the bears with Copic Markers (E15, E18, E25, E29, E34, R39, R46, YG17, and B06).

Next, I water colored the card panel with Gansai Tambi and cut out the windows with MFT’s Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows Die. I ink blended the background with Tumbled Glass and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped the sentiments from Mama Elephant’s Mimi Message onto the card panel with VersaFine Onyx Ink. I glued the ink blended background onto the back of the card panel. Last, I adhered the bears onto the card panel. To finish off the card, I popped up the card panel with foam tape onto my A2 Recollection #100 pound card base.
