Hello friends! I hope your week is off to a great start!
It’s time for another new color challenge over on the CC&S blog! I hope you will play along with us.
First, I stamped the Flora Background from Simon Says Stamps onto a piece of Neenah Desert Storm card stock with VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed with WOW! Embossing Silver powder. I colored the flora with Faber Castell’s Polychromos Color Pencils. Next, I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamps’ And Dies Birthday Word Mix Set with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink onto a piece of Vellum card stock and also heat embossed with Hero Arts’ Clear Embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die. I trimmed the flora background to 2.5″ by 4″ and matted with a piece of black card stock from Recollection. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Core Silver Pearl card base. Last, I adhered the sentiment onto my card.
Here are the beautiful colors sketch created by our host, Samantha!
I hope you like the card and thanks for visiting! See you next time!
Beautiful! Love the silver embossing and the nice wide border around your floral.

You did a gorgeous job shading those flowers. I wouldn’t have thought to pair kraft with silver but it looks really good here!
