Happy Birthday – CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #357 – Sketch

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you all had a great start of the week! It’s time for a new sketch challenge at CC&S!

I created this card with Simon Says Stamps’ Lifting Hearts Stamp Set and Mosaic Heart Stencil. First, I used the Mosaic Heart stencil and ink blended with Picked Raspberry, Candied Apple and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks and I heat embossed with Hero Arts’ Clear Embossing Powder. Next, I die cut the heart shape out with Simon Says Stamp’s Nested Heart Dies. I stamped the cat with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers (C00, C01, T02, R37 and R46). I used the embossing folder to emboss the heart background with white Recollection card stock. I glued everything onto my Red Bazzill card panel. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Beige Bazzill card base and glued on the sentiment.
