CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #379 – Sketch – Hugs

Hello there! I hope you all had a great weekend! It’s time for a new sketch challenge starts today over at CC&S!

I created this card by using Mama Elephant’s Stamp, Simon Says Stamp’s Wafer Die and Alcohol Pearl Inks from Tim Holtz. First, I stamped the little chicks from Mama Elephant’s Lil’ Painters Stamp Set onto a piece of Neenah white card stock with Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic Markers. I created the background with Tim Holtz’s Alcohol Inks. Next, I die cut a circle window onto a piece of #100 pound of Neenah white card stock measuring 4″ by 5.25″. I glued the window panel onto the alcohol background. I adhered the chicks onto the card panel. I used the Simon Says Stamp’s Painted Hugs Wafer Die and cut out two hugs from black Recollection card stock and stacked them up and glued it onto the alcohol background. To finish off the card, I glued the card panel onto my A2 Orange Bazzill card base.
