Hugs – CAS Colours and Sketches – Challenge #385 – Sketch

Hello there and Happy Tuesday!

I can’t believe it’s already the end of August and it’s the last sketch challenge for this month at CC&S. Here is the sketch we have prepared for you and I hope you will play along with us this week.

I created this card by using the PinkFresh Studio’s Diamond Tiles Background Stamp. First, I stamped the diamond titles onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts’ White Embossing Powder. Next, I ink blended with Wilted Violet, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Oxide Inks. Then, I used the tag die from My Favorite Things and die cut out the tag and matted with a piece of black card stock and placed it back onto the background stamp. I die cut a hugs from black card stock and using the Simon Says Stamp’s Wafer Hugs Die. I also colored a flower and leaves from Simon Says Stamp’s Sketched Flowers Stamp Set with Copic Markers. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Black card base.
