Happy Sunday!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I can’t believe it’s already last Sunday in August. Where did the time go?
Today, I am sharing two cards with this beautiful Tulip Background Stamp from Simon Says Stamp. Tulip is one of my favorites flower. When I saw this stamp set and I couldn’t resist and had to get it. First, I stamped the Tulip Background twice. One with Hero Arts’ Black Intense Ink onto a piece of Neenah White Card Stock so I can color it with Copic Markers (Y00, Y06, Y08, Y13, YG17, YG23, BV00, V12, and BG000). Another one with VersaMark Ink onto Desert Storm Neenah card stock and I heat embossed with white WOW Embossing Powder. Next, I used the Hexagon Die to cut out a window in the upper middle of the card panel which colored with Copic. I also cut another white Neenah card stock with the Hexagon Die and colored it with Pale Aqua (BG000) to match the background. Then, I stamped the sentiment using the Hexagon Greetings from Simon Says Stamp and heat embossed with Clear Sparkling WOW Embossing Powder. I used a Copic Multiliner and drew some pattern onto the Hexagon Die and popped it back to the colored Tulip card panel. I adhered the card panel onto my A2 White Card Base.

For the other card, I adhered the colored Tulip Hexagon onto the embossed Desert Storm card panel. I stamped the Hello sentiment and heat embossed with clear sparkling WOW Embossing Powder. To finish off the card, I adhered onto my A2 Neenah Desert Storm card base and added a thin black Hexagon frame.

I hope you like these two cards. Thanks for visiting and see you next time!
