Holiday Greetings – CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #398

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great weekend. It’s time for new sketch challenge started over at CC&S!

Here is the beautiful sketch created by our host, Shannon!

I created my card by ink blending the background with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. Next, I stamped the Christmas trees from Slimline Scene Builder: Christmas Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp with Versa Mark Ink and heated embossing with Hero Arts’ White Detailed Embossing Powder. I also splashed some white ink onto the ink blended card panel. I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark Ink and heated embossing with white embossing powder onto a piece of black card stock strip. To finish off the card, I trimmed the card panel down to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered onto by A2 White Recollection card base.
