Happy Birthday – CAS Colours & Sketches – Challenge #402 – Sketch

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great weekend. It’s time for a new sketch challenge over at CC&S!

I created my card by using Your Next Stamp’s Runaway Cake stamp. First, I stamped the runaway cake with a copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink onto a piece of Neenah White card stock. I masked the runaway cake with a piece of post it and ink blended with Pumice Stone Oxide Ink. Next, I colored the runaway cake with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment onto my card. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Sand card base.

  2. I love this image! I’m wondering if he can really eat that all by himself. Ha! The blended stripe is great…love that it’s flowy and not taped off (like I usually do….note to self.)

  4. Very cute image and very nicely used in this card. I agree with Juliep about the flowiness. That really contributes to the movement of the little mouse. (Not sure it’s actually a mouse but….)
