Hello Sunshine

Happy Thursday, everyone! I can’t wait for the weekend to start!

Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp’s Center Cut Burst!

First, I stamped the image with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder onto a Neenah Solar White Cardstock to create my background.  Then, I used ink blending tools to blend Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks together.

Sending You All Smiles Across The Miles

Happy Friday, everyone!

Today’s cards features Wa No Iki flower stamp set. I got this stamp set from Hawaii when I went there for vacation this month.

First, I stamped the solid flower image onto the Neenah white card stock with Altenew Butter Cream and Warm Sunshine inks. Then, I stamped the outline of the flowers and colored them with Copic markers (Y11 and Y17).  I fussy cut the flowers and put them aside. I cut another piece of black card stock that is a little bigger than the card front.  Then, I glued the card front onto the black card stock and glued the outline of the flowers on. I stamped the sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh with Versa Fine black ink and heat embossed with clear Hero Arts embossing powder.

Good morning and Happy Sunday everyone!

Today’s card features Pretty Pink Posh, Flourishing Fuchsias and Encouraging Greetings stamps set.   First, I stamped the Flourishing Fuchsias with Memento black ink pad onto a 4″ x 5″ Neenah Solar White #80 card stock.  Then, I stamped the leaves on some solar white Neenah scraps.  I colored the Fuchsias and leaves with Copic markers (RV 13, 17, 21 and 55 for the flower and YG 13, 17 and 23 for the leaves) and fussy cut out the two leaves with scissors and placed them aside.   I also stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx black ink pad and heated embossing it with Hero Arts clear embossing powder.  I glued on the two leaves and used a light grey Copic marker (C3) to color around all the stamped elements to form a shadow.

Sending my love card

Happy Sunday everyone!  I had an amazing day yesterday  at Hero Arts, joining a group of amazing crafters at the Coloring Challenge Road Trip with Kathy Racoosin.  I learned a lot of coloring tips from Kathy and got to apply them to this card that I made today. unnamed-9

Magnolia was colored with Hero Arts liquid watercolor.  I stamped a frame stamp from Rubbernecker and blended the outside border with blueprint sketch Distress Oxide ink.  I kept the card very clean and simple so I could enter the card for AAA card challenge and also for the Color throw down challenge.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and see you all next time!

Supplies:  Magnolia floral stamp and liquid watercolor from Hero Arts, Ranger Distress Oxide ink (blueprint sketch), Neenah 110 pound card stock, Rubberneck Freehand Border stamp, and Lucy Abrams’ sparkling jewels.
