Can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving this Thursday! Are you guys all ready for winter and Christmas? I think I am….so here you go. I’m sharing a holidays card with you today!
First, I started with my card panel by ink-blending it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card-stock. Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp’s Mod Stripes Stencil and Beautiful Flowers 2 Stamp Set! I am so in love with these stamp sets and have been using it a lot lately. It’s perfect for coloring on day 6 of the 30 day coloring challenge.

Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp’s Leafy Frame Stencil and Beautiful Flowers 2 Stamps Set. It’s day two for the 30 day coloring challenge and I am trying to participate this time.
First, I started working on my card panel by ink blending with a leafy stencil with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks onto a Bristol Smooth card stock. Next, I stamped the sentiment Big Thanks Words from Simon Says Stamp with VersaFine’s Onyx Black ink and heat-embossed it with Hero Arts’ Clear Embossing powder. Today’s card features Simon Says Stamp, Abstract Triangles Cling Background Stamp and the “Whoa! You’re Amazing!!” die.
I stamped the Abstract Triangles background stamp with VersaMark ink onto a Strathmore Watercolor paper and heat-embossing with Hero Arts, White Embossing Powder. I used the Nuvo Shimmer Powder from Tonic Studio for the coloring. Continue reading “Whoa!! You’re amazing!!”

Today’s card is created for this week’s CAS Colours and Sketches challenge #295 and also for my entry for their second part of the DT call. This week’s is a sketch challenge. I used Hero Arts, My Monthly August Card Kit and Foam Animals Stamps Set for today’s card.
I stamped the coffee cup and saucer with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts, Intense Black on a piece of Neenah White card-stock and colored with Copic Markers (W1, 2 and 4 and E13 and 34). After it completely dried, I stamped the coffee art with VersaMark ink and heat-embossed it with Hero Arts’ white puffy embossing powder. I fussy cut the image out and put it aside. Hello friends and happy Thursday! One more day to go until the weekend is here. I can’t stop playing this Plank Background Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp. I am so in love with it.
First, I stamped the Plank Background with VersaMark Ink onto a Bristol Smooth card stock panel and heat-embossed it with Ranger Ink’s Princess Gold embossing powder. I colored the background with Zig’s Clean Color Real Brush (Cobalt Blue, Yellow, Fresh Color and Light Green). I let it sit and air-dry for half an hour. After it completely dried, I trimmed down the background to 4.25″ by 5.5″. Continue reading “Hello Friend”
