Altenew Inks – Holly's Handmade Cards

Hello there and Happy November! The holidays are just right around the corner! It’s time to make some holidays cards! Here are some beautiful holidays color prepared for you by our host, Joanne at CC&S!

I created my card by using Simon Says Stamp’s Merry Wreath Stamp Set from 2019 Stamptember release. I inked the wreath onto a piece of Neenah White card stock with Altenew’s Inks. Next, I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the wreath. I also stamped the bow, cut it out and adhered it onto the wreath. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 Green Bazzill card base.

Happy Wednesday! This week features the scripture of Psalm 145: 8 at Word Art Wednesday! I hope you will play along with us. The winner for this challenge will win a $15 gift card from our generous sponsor, The Project Bin!

For today’s card, I preprinted the scripture onto a piece of gray card stock. Next, I stamped the flowers from Altenew’s Billowing Blossoms Stamp with Altenew’s Inks onto a piece of White Neenah Card Stock. I die cut a rectangle window from the stamped panel and added a thin frame on it. To finish off the card, I adhered the printed scripture card stock behind the window and adhered it onto my A2 Lilac Card Base.

Happy Wednesday! Time for new challenge started today over at Word Art Wednesday! This week features the scripture of HABAKKUK 2:14.

I used the Simon Says Stamp’s Just Because Stamp Set to create my card. I first pre-printed the scripture onto a piece of Neenah White card stock. Next, I stamped the leaves with Altenew’s Ink onto both corners of the card panel. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my purple A2 card base.

Word Art Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

New challenge starts today over at Word Art Wednesday! This week’s features the scripture of Hebrews 1:10.

Today, I am using a very beautiful Stamp Set (Autumn Blessings) from Stamp Simply! First, I stamped the image onto a craft card stock with a very light Lavender Ink from Altenew to make the background of the card and glued it onto my A2 Purple Card Base. Next, I printed the scripture onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and trimmed it down to 3.5″ by 2.5″. I stamped the image with Violet and Bamboo Altenew’s Inks. I matted the scripture panel with a lighter shade of purple. To finish off the card, I popped it up the scripture panel with foam tape.

Happy Wednesday!

Another new challenge starts today at Word Art Wednesday. Come join in the challenge for this week. You might be the next winner.

This week’s challenge features the script of Isaiah 54:13.

First, I printed the script onto a piece of Bristol Smooth white card stock. Next, I started stamping the layering stamp from Altenew’s Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set onto the card stock with the script. I stamped the outline of the flowers with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink, the solid layer with Rose Quarty, Altenew’s Crisp Dye Ink and the detail layer with Puffy Heart. The leaves, I used the color of Bamboo and Parrot. I matted the card panel with a piece of pink card stock by Recollection. To finish off the card, I adhered the card panel onto my A2 #100 pound of Recollection White card base.
