CAS Colours & Sketches, Holidays Cards

Season’s Greetings

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!

I’m honored and excited to be a Guest Designer for the Cas Colours and Sketches Challenge Blog for December. I also get to join their amazing Design Team for 2019!

This week’s challenge is to choose a 2018 CAS Colours & Sketches Sketch Challenge and make it seasonal.

I used challenge #276 today and made it into a Holiday’s Card. I stamped the penguins from C.C. Designs’ Sweet Penguins Rubber Stamp with a friendly Copic Markers ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black.  I colored them with Copic Markers (R46, R85, R89, YG13, YG17, C7 and Y18) and fussy cut them out. I also stamped the sentiment, “Season’s Greetings”, with Versa Fine, Onyx black onto a strip of Bazzill, lime card stock.

I found a piece of pattern paper from Reminisce that I love so much. It’s red and the print says “Ho Ho Ho”.  I wanted to use it but found it a little too distracting so Iput a piece of vellum in front of it. The pattern paper measures 3″ by 2.25″, and I glued it onto the front of my A2 Bazzill, Peppermint card base.

To finish the card, I adhered the penguins and the strip of the sentiment onto the card panel. I hope you all like the card.

Thanks for visiting and see you next time!

Happy Tuesday!

Can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving this Thursday! Are you guys all ready for winter and Christmas? I think I am….so here you go. I’m sharing a holidays card with you today!

First, I started with my card panel by ink-blending it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card-stock. Then, I placed the Simon Says Stamp’s Falling Snow Stencil onto my card panel and applied some Studio 490 embossing paste from Wendy Vecchi.  Continue reading “Hope you’re having a BALL this winter!”

Happy Birthday

Happy Friday! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Today, I am sharing a birthday card I made for my niece. This is a perfect card for her because she is a music teacher and a cellist. I hope she will like it.

First, I started working on my card panel by stamping the Noteworthy Background from Local King Rubber Stamp with VersaMark ink onto a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and heat-embossed it with Hero Arts’ White Detail Embossing Powder. I used the ink blending tools to blend Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Inks. Continue reading “Happy Birthday”
