CAS Colours & Sketches, Holidays Cards

Season’s Greetings

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!

I’m honored and excited to be a Guest Designer for the Cas Colours and Sketches Challenge Blog for December. I also get to join their amazing Design Team for 2019!

This week’s challenge is to choose a 2018 CAS Colours & Sketches Sketch Challenge and make it seasonal.

I used challenge #276 today and made it into a Holiday’s Card. I stamped the penguins from C.C. Designs’ Sweet Penguins Rubber Stamp with a friendly Copic Markers ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black.I colored them with Copic Markers (R46, R85, R89, YG13, YG17, C7 and Y18) and fussy cut them out. I also stamped the sentiment, “Season’s Greetings”, with Versa Fine, Onyx black onto a strip of Bazzill, lime card stock.

I found a piece of pattern paper from Reminisce that I love so much. It’s red and the print says “Ho Ho Ho”.  I wanted to use it but found it a little too distracting so Iput a piece of vellum in front of it. The pattern paper measures 3″ by 2.25″, and I glued it onto the front of my A2 Bazzill, Peppermint card base.

To finish the card, I adhered the penguins and the strip of the sentiment onto the card panel. I hope you all like the card.
