Word Art Wednesday

Hello friends and Happy Wednesday!

It’s another challenge week over at Word Art Wednesday.

This week’s challenge features the script from PSALM 55:22 and the stamp from Hero Arts’ Seas The Day Seagulls.

First, I printed the script onto a piece of 4.25″ by 5.5″ of Bristol Smooth Surface card stock. Then, I started by ink blending Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Candied Apple Distress Oxide onto the card stock to make my card panel and I trimmed it down to 4″ by 5.25″. I stamped the seagulls and pier pylon with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink onto a piece of Neenah White card stock. I colored the wood stump with Copic marker (E15) and left the seagulls in white and colored the beaks in Copic (Y15). I die cut a thin frame from Altenew’s Fine Frames Cover Die with Neenah White card stock and glued it onto my card panel. To finish the card, I adhered the card panel onto my Recollection #110 lbs white card base and glued the seagulls and pier pylon onto the card.
