Something special on your Birthday

Happy Tuesday!

It’s another new sketch challenge over at the Cas Colours and Sketches. I hope you will come and play along with us!

I stamped the cupcake tier from Sparkle N Sprinkle with a Copic friendly ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink onto a piece of Neenah White card stock. I colored the cupcakes with Copic Markers (V01, V04, R02, R20, Y02 and Y06).

I also stamped the Cupcake Tier with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts’ Clear Embossing Powder onto a piece of vellum. I colored the stand with a Silver Gel Pen. Then, I fussy cut out the cupcakes after I colored them and glued them onto the piece of vellum. Next, I cut out three different size strips of pattern paper from Recollection and glued them onto my A2 Bazzill’s Easter Grass card base. I adhered the vellum square onto the card and stamped the sentiment from Memory Box with Versa Fine Onyx Black.

So bright and fresh and delicious looking. Your layering of all these sweet elements makes it pop out like a spring up party. Your colouring is flawless. What a happy card for someone special.
