Hello there! I hope you all had a great Monday!
Can’t believe it’s already the end of February! Time flies by so fast! Today I am making this card for sketch challenge #359 for CC&S! I hope you will play along with us.
First, I stamped the cake and the party hat from Taylored Expressions with a friendly copic ink, Hero Arts’ Intense Black Ink on to a piece of Neenah white card stock. I colored the images with copic markers (BG11, BG15, Y08, E30, R00, R83 and R89). I used the coordinated dies to cut out the cake and hat. Next, I used the Taylored Expression’s Embossing Folder’s Graphic Impression – Birthday onto a piece of Neenah white card stock. I used a circle die to cut out the off circle from my embossed card panel. I inked blended Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks onto another piece of Bristol Smooth white card stock. I adhered the embossed card panel onto the ink blended one and glued the card panel onto my A2 Sour Lemon Bazzill card base. I used my stamping tool, Misti to stamp the sentiment onto my card. Last, I popped up the party hat with foam tape and glued the cake down onto the card. To finish off the card, I added some Lucy’s rainbows jewels.
Here is the beautiful sketch created by our host, Samantha! I hope to see your creation over at CC&S!
Thanks for visiting and see you next time!
Super sweet and festive take on the sketch.
